Grow Up, Sid!

Let's face it, the Penguins will probably end up losing this series to Philadelphia, and lot of people are to blame. Marc-Andre Fleury has been atrocious in goal, Evgeni Malkin has not scored, and most importantly, the captain, Sidney Crosby, has lost his cool. Yesterday, and during Game 2, when things started to go the Flyers' way, Crosby took the under-handed approach, stirring up the pot between the two teams. Look at Game 3 yesterday: a lot of the altercations were started by Crosby.
Look at some of the game's all-time great leaders: Mark Messier, Steve Yzerman, Wayne Gretzky. Would you ever see this behavior out of them? Of course not. When things weren't going their way, they just kept playing their game. Sidney Crosby should have kept his cool, keep playing to his high standards, and not get caught up in all of the violence.
Yesterday, the entire Penguins team lost their cool. But with good leadership from Crosby, that wouldn't have happened, or at least it would have been minimized. And if it would have been minimized, the Penguins might have focused more on playing hockey than worrying about beating the crap out of the Flyers.
So Sid, to you, I say "Grow up!"

  1. I think Crosby should be a man and hold all of his anger. All crosby did was stupid stuff and fights. Maybe if Crosby would have stop acting like a kid,and focused on the game the PENGUINS COULD HAVE WON!!!
